Christmas in Limerick

Since 2022, Milestone has worked alongside the Arts Office, Limerick City and County Council, and local stakeholders for Christmas in Limerick.

In 2022, we implemented a six-week festive initiative for Christmas in Limerick 2022 running from 11 November to 26 December 2022.

This initiative consisted of 

• The animation of key public spaces during the festive period.
• Arthurs Quay – Christmas village incorporating the Limerick Ice rink
• Bedford Row Market, street performances, and a programme of music from the bullet stage.

In 2023, Milestone worked on animating Limerick this Christmas with performances scheduled for the weekends in December in Bedford Row, Cruises Street, O’Connell Street, and Thomas Street. There was walkabout performers, music, kid’s discos, and much more!
