Sligo BID Research Project

Milestone Inventive was commissioned by the Sligo BIDS Project, on behalf of Sligo County Council, to conduct market research on Sligo Town centre businesses and users, with a view to establishing the nature and scope of the town centre’s commercial and public landscape.

Sligo County Council and other Local Authorities in Northern Ireland and Scotland (Ballymena, Coleraine, Larne and Ayr) were successful in securing funding through the European Regional Development Fund’s INTERREG IVA Programme for the Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) Project. Sligo had been assessed to be at pre-BIDs stage and this research formed part of the preliminary groundwork necessary for the success of this project.
