The Housing Commission – Conference on a Referendum on Housing in Ireland May 10th & 11th, 2022
The Conference on a Referendum on Housing formed part of the fact finding and orientation stage of The Housing Commission’s work, serving as a listening exercise to examine the complex constitutional questions arising and the various proposals that have been made around the potential wording for an amendment to the Constitution and to assist the commission in its task to advise the government, in an independent and objective manner, regarding the critical factors for consideration and to make recommendations as to the appropriate wording to be put to the people.
Milestone managed all aspects of the hybrid conference which featured:
33 speakers and 5 chairs of which:
- 17 presented remotely with
- 10 pre-recorded their presentations, produced and captioned by Milestone
- all presenters who pre-recorded their presentations, also participated live in Q&A sessions
- 7 presented live and remotely
For this paperless conference Milestone collected and compiled all academic papers into an e-pack and also created the information pack hosted online which included all details needed to attend. As well as managing all technical aspects of the two day conference Milestone also managed the registration system for all those attending both online and in person.
