SALTHILL SUMMER SUNDAY MARKET – OPENING MAY 12TH 2019

There’s a brand new addition to your summer weekends on the horizon as the inaugural Salthill Summer Sunday Market is set to open on May 12th.  Located beside the Prom car park, near the roundabout, in the heart of Salthill Village, the weekly market will run every Sunday from 10am – 4pm during the summer months. 

Mayor of Galway, Cllr Niall NcNelis welcomed news of the new venture saying ‘I’m delighted to see the addition of another vibrant event to our city’s summer calendar and I hope that all of the residents of Salthill and surrounds will come out to support the local Salthill businesses and artisan traders who are coming together to create an extra attraction that’s sure to boost visitors to the area’.

With an exciting mix of produce on offer, including gourmet crepes, Colleran’s Sausages, fresh fruit and veg, barista coffee, wood-fired pizza and a range of craft and gift items, there will be something to tempt everyone as you pull up a patch of grass and soak in the stunning views across Galway Bay. What better way to while away a few lazy hours on a summer Sunday, supporting local artisan producers all at the same time!
