Galway Christmas Market
The 2025 Christmas Market Galway opened on Friday the 7th of November, bringing Christmas cheer to Eyre Square until Monday January 4th.
The main market ran until Dec 22nd and then from Dec 23rd a scaled back version (minus the traders on the Skeff road) continued until new years day. The vintage amusements and The View Wheel continued to operate until 4th of January.
The Christmas Market Galway is produced by Milestone Inventive and usually runs over the course of almost 60 days in the lead-up to and post-Christmas. It is the largest annual event of its kind in the country. It has 50-60 market traders, creative Christmas installations, lighting, and vintage amusements, Santa’s Cabin, all situated in the heart of Galway City. The market attracts an audience of over 400,000 visitors over its duration.
As producers of the market, Milestone Inventive has sole responsibility for all functions, including sourcing traders, sponsorship and other commercial revenue, programming, marketing, and all aspects of event production from site planning and safety to logistics and operations.
